With Bergen EA there is no software to install and no upfront customisation required - from the moment you login with any browser, you'll be ready to model your enterprise architecture.

Model your organisation's team structure, then record the Solutions that the teams use in their day to day work. Solutions are comprised of Applications (software programs) that run on Devices (such as PCs and servers). With Bergen EA you can record all these entities and model the vital linkages between them, taking into account environments (such as production, pre-production, user-testing etc) and groupings of Applications.

Bergen EA is available as an internet accessible Software as a Service, on a "pay for what you use" basis. SaaS is convenient and cost effective; Bergenhoos takes care of upgrades, patching and refreshing of Bergen EA, leaving you with zero administration overhead.

Easy UI

Bergen EA has a unique and inituitive user interface allowing you to easily navigate the linkages. For example, to see which teams are dependent on a particular Device, then just click on the Device in the model and the associated Applications, Solutions and teams are highlighted.

The data you need

Every team, Solution, Application and Device has important values you will want to record in the model; who supports that Solution? what is the expiry date of that Application? where is that Device located?. Bergen EA has the data fields for recording these values and more. You can extract the data from Bergen EA and run reports, giving you a tailored overview of the state of your organisation.

Traceability

For auditing purposes, all changes to data are logged; who changed what and when is invaluable information for tracking the history of your model.
